i wanted to experiment with exterior led lights on ITIBITI, so i thought i'd
begin with the taillights. after
matt poked around
superbrightleds for a while, he decided
these would be our best bet. led's use so little power, they cause
the turn signals to blink rapidly...thinking the bulbs are burnt out, or
missing. you usually have to install load resistors, which are wired parallel with the turn signal bulbs to simulate the load of a standard filament bulb so the led's blink normally. i'm sure glad matt knew what he was doing because at that point...i was lost! watch the taillight video here! |
